I just found this post from the search engine, after a while reading from the top down, now I got new idea for my own blog.

I got a call from an odd phone number a couple of years ago, I’m pretty sure the area code was Nebraska too. I tried looking it up - it turned out to be a number that often shows up on Caller ID or *69 when someone makes a call with a calling card. (Maybe it’s the phone number you call to enter your code in for the card?)

Since a lot of people on that message board were talking about the calls being various scams, my guess is that this is the same case.

One person said they were going to try to call the number - but they didn’t post again.
